A wife found guilty of killing her husband in 2006 will spend the rest of her life in prison.
A Marathon County judge sentenced Cindy Schulz Juedes to life in prison without parole Wednesday.
She had been accused of shooting Ken Juedes 16 years ago, then cashing in on nearly a million dollars in life insurance money and land.
She had been a person of interest in the case for years but it wasn’t until late 2019 that she was arrested and charged.
A jury found her guilty last October.
Her attorney had argued five other men killed her husband over the sale of a racetrack.
