A group of clergy abuse survivors says Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul has failed them.
Those survivors say the statewide investigation has gone cold and that leaves them traumatized again after reliving the past.
The group says Kaul’s office has failed to retrieve documents and evidence, hasn’t audited church lists, and has failed in the criminal prosecution efforts, too.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice counters by saying it has completed more than 200 reports on more than 150 abusers.
Two clergy members have been sued – one in Douglas County and one in Wood County.
