Yesterday we told you about how excited everyone at Ascend Services is to be back to some semblance of normalcy following COVID-19. Now we are going to hear from Brittney Randal, who has been working with Ascend Services since 2013.
We asked Brittney what she likes about working at Ascend.
She said, “My favorite part about working here would have to be seeing everybody coming in and being with them.”
We also asked Brittney what her favorite job to work on would be.
“My favorite thing to work on is probably going to be the copper shots,” she explained. “The copper shots are basically a small piece of metal that you put into a cup and you measure it on a scale. It’s different.”
When asked what her least favorite job is, Brittney’s inner comedian shined bright.
“Anything but piston rings,” she joked. “It’s boring.”
Brittney also told us about how she worked at Evergreen Cemetery as a groundskeeper which she enjoyed because “It helped me relax.”
Brittney also said she has a few things she would like to do more.
“I actually want to volunteer more often, and maybe even go to the library more often,” she revealed.
Brittney said she like doing “any kind of volunteering.”
She told us she used to volunteer at the YMCA which was fun because she got to meet new people.
Tomorrow we will hear from Travis Boetcher, who will tell us all about his work history, and what he loves about working at Ascend Services.
