Alejandro Barajas-Alvarez was called to heaven on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the age of 37.
He was born September 19, 1984, to Gabriel Barajas-Jacinto and Alicia Alvarez-Perez. Since the young age of thirteen, when he began working in the restaurant industry, Alejandro took on the responsibility of sending money back home to Mexico to help support his family. He later met his wife, Breanna Mueller, while working at her family restaurant. Eventually, the couple opened their own restaurant, La Carreta Mexican Restaurant in Manitowoc, on June 16, 2012.
Alejandro was a family man, always putting others before himself. In the seventeen years that he grew with his wife, Alejandro took it upon himself to raise his brothers as if they were his own, until they were old enough to venture off on their own and raise their own families.
His hard work, and dedication to his business and family never went unnoticed.
Alejandro loved his family, nature, and traveling back home to Mexico to show both his daughters where their roots were.
Alejandro is survived by his wife: Breanna Barajas; two young daughters: Alicia age 13 and Aleanna age 7; eight siblings: Gregorio (Juana), Felipe, Antonio (Marisela), Amelia (Angel), Manuel (Alicia), Ramiro, Yolanda (significant other Luis), and Santiago; special uncles: Luis Alvarez-Perez, Ramon Alvarez-Perez, and Salvador Alvarez-Perez; one goddaughter: Mariana Barajas; seven nieces and nine nephews; his father-in-law: Brian Mueller (Conrad Nievera); his mother-in-law: Mary Mueller; two sisters-in-law: Autum (Jason Raymer) and Stephanie Mueller (significant other Jason); and one brother-in-law: Trent Mueller (significant other Samantha O’Gara).
Alejandro was preceded in death by his parents: Gabriel Barajas-Jacinto and Alicia Alvarez-Perez; his maternal grandparents: Ramon Alvarez and Maria Perez; and his paternal grandparents: Antonio Jacinto and Paula Jacinto.
