A 17-year-old homicide suspect accused of shooting an honor student to death had been freed without bail despite facing charges in another killing.
Rashaun Seaberry is being held in the Milwaukee County Jail.
Investigators say a graduation party in the city’s Meaux Park neighborhood turned deadly when partygoers fired shots at a suspicious car that was driving by.
That car was actually carrying their friends who were trying to find the party. 19-year-old Camiona Funches was fatally wounded.
Seaberry had served nearly a year in jail while his trial was delayed and a judge released him without requiring bail.
