The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are basically sitting exactly where they were two weeks ago.
They have split their last 12 games, and remain two games out of first place in the Midwest League’s West Division.
If they want to gain any ground, the Rattlers are going to have to do it on the road over the next two weeks.
This week’s series will be held in Beloit, as they take on a Sky Carp team that is coming off of a solid series against the Quad Cities River Bandits.
The Carp came up one game shy of a sweep, and are looking to keep that momentum rolling against the Rattlers.
The last time these two teams met, the Rattlers won five of the six games, but Beloit has improved since that mid-April series.
First pitch tonight is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. with Russel Smith slotted to get the start for the Rattlers.
