Quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be on the practice field when the Packers begins their mandatory minicamp.
Rodgers skipped the organized team activities without the controversy of last year.
He will take part in the minicamp through Thursday.
After that, his presence would be voluntary.
Rodgers will be working on his timing with wide receivers like rookies Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, plus veterans Randall Cobb and Allen Lazard.
Last year at this time it wasn’t clear yet whether Rodgers would ever play for Green Bay again.
A three-year, $150-million contract extension has answered that question.
