An Interim Superintendent may be selected today by the Manitowoc Public School District’s Board of Education.
The group is scheduled to gather at 1:00 this afternoon at the District Offices, where they will enter a closed session to interview candidates for the position.
Then, they may or may not reconvene in an open session to vote on the matter.
The Board will also be reviewing personnel matters with a legal counsel during the closed session, although we do not know what exactly that issue is.
We have sent an email to Board President Stacey Soeldner for an update after the meeting is complete.
