One of the offseason priorities for the Milwaukee Bucks will undoubtedly be to keep center Bobby Portis on the roster.
He performed very well while filling in for the injured Brook Lopez during the regular season.
Portis has a $4.6 million player option on his contract to stay in Milwaukee but it’s not likely he will exercise it.
The just-completed season should mean a much-bigger paycheck for the 27-year-old veteran.
Most NBA observers expect him to sign a long-term deal with the Bucks because Lopez is advancing in age and missed most of the season after back surgery.
