Seven Badgers have been named to the preseason All-Big Ten teams by the publication Athlon Sports.
Running back Braelon Allen, outside linebacker Nick Herbig, and defensive tackle Keeanu Benton were named to the first team.
Center Joe Tippman’s name is listed on the second team, with offensive guard Tyler Beach on the third team, and tackle Jack Nelson and safety Hunter Wohler on the fourth team.
Badgers football opens the 2022 college season at the renovated Barry Alvarez Field at Camp Randall Stadium against Illinois State on September 3rd.
