A Mineral Point daycare provider is now charged with first-degree reckless homicide in the death of a four-month-old baby who was in her care.
29-year-old JoAnna Ford had been booked into the Iowa County Jail on child neglect charges.
Ford made her initial court appearance in April.
She is scheduled to return to court next month for a status conference.
An autopsy revealed the child, Wyatt Hamlin, suffered a severe traumatic brain injury while he was in her care.
Ford faces a total of seven charges in the case from last February.
