The principal owner of the Milwaukee Brewers is reportedly looking at buying a stake in a United Kingdom soccer club.
The Athletic is reporting Mark Attanasio is nearing the purchase of part-ownership in Norwich City – a club that was recently relegated out of the Premier League and upward into the English Football League Championship.
The 64-year-old Attanasio has held the principal stake in the Brewers since 2005.
Nine of last year’s 20 Premier League teams are either wholly or partly owned by American investors.
