The nation is still mourning the deaths of 19 school children and 2 adults during a shooting at a school in Uvalde Texas last week.
Some point to stricter gun laws to help fix the problem, others point to a better mental health system, but all agree that the violence needs to stop.
But for now, all we as citizens can do in the wake of the shooting in Texas is remember and honor the dead.
That is exactly what a group in Manitowoc did recently.
The group Crusaders of Justicia held a vigil on the shores of Lake Michigan, where they held signs depicting the 21 victims and called for an end to the violence.
Some of the children participating in the vigil were around the same age as the victims.
