The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers could not get the offense going last night as they fell to the Cedar Rapids Kernels 9-0.
Neither team had a score until the 4th inning when the Kernels platted four runs.
They added one more in the 7th, and for good measure got another four in the 8th.
The only Rattler to get a hit was right fielder Carlos Rodriguez, who hit a single and a triple.
On the other side, the Kernels had all but two batters get at least one hit as they scattered 10 around the ballpark.
The Rattlers will try to even the series in Cedar Rapids Iowa tonight.
First pitch at Perfect Game Park is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
