The Manitowoc Bandits won their opening game last night in the Navarino Hardball Challenge.
Manager Chris Cisler tells us the Bandits used a 6-run fourth inning to edge the Appleton Legends 9-to-8.
Ridge Guyette went 3-for-4 with a 2-run homer, and Ben Coons was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, and 3-RBI’S.
AJ Dollinger contributed a 2 run double while Chris Casper and Earl Vorpagel added 2 hits apiece.
Jordan Casper earned the win with a save from Guyette, who struck out all 4 batters he faced.
The Bandits play game two of pool play tomorrow morning at 11:30 a.m. against the Bonduel Broncos.
