A total of 28 University of Wisconsin Track and Field athletes are competing in the NCAA West Preliminary Round in Fayetteville, Arkansas today.
The men’s prelims started yesterday, and the women’s events begin today.
Both the men’s and women’s competitors, covering a combined 21 events, are aiming to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in early June in Eugene, Oregon.
The top 12 individuals and top 12 relay teams will advance to the next round.
