If the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers want to win the Midwest League’s West Division, they are going to have to go through the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
As things currently sit, the Kernels’ 26-13 record has them on top of the Division, but the Rattlers are only one game back at 25-14.
The Milwaukee Brewers’ and Minnesota Twins’ High-A affiliates are set to square off this evening at Perfect Fame Field.
Ryne Moore will be on the mound for the Rattlers.
He has accumulated 39 innings pitched this season, and has an 0-2 record over 7 games, an ERA of 3.46, and has 40 strikeouts.
He will be facing Aaron Rozek, who has a 4-2 record, an ERA of 5.10, and has struck out 32 batters in his 30 innings pitched.
First pitch in Cedar Rapids Iowa is scheduled for 6:35 p.m.
