There has been a transfer of ownership of a successful Manitowoc landscaping business.
Jerry Haupt of Lakeland Landscape has operated the company for many years, but as of May 1st, two employees of the business, Tim Krueger and Ryan Kubsch, have taken over the operation of the landscaping firm.
Haupt spoke of the leadership change, saying, “Tim and Brian both have good handles on the work…they’ve been doing it for some time. So, no concerns there. We’re really happy that this took place and Linda and I wanted it to happen. Finally, everything fell into place, we’re happy for them and they’ll serve the lakeshore well.”
Krueger has a great deal of admiration for the Haupts adding, “Tim and Brian both have good handles on the work…they’ve been doing it for some time. So, no concerns there. We’re really happy that this took place and Linda and I wanted it to happen. Finally, everything fell into place, we’re happy for them and they’ll serve the lakeshore well.”
Jerry indicated that he is now working for the new owners during a transition period, with plans for him to gradually phase-out of the business.
Haupt anticipates no major changes in the operation, adding they have a number of projects booked for the rest of the year.
He and his wife Linda are both Valders High School graduates and they will be moving back to Valders for their retirement years.
