Barbara Ann Wagner, 73, of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
She was born on February 20, 1949 in Manitowoc to Evelyn F. Hammerberg. Barbara grew up and attended school in Manitowoc. She later worked as a welder at Manitowoc Cranes and as a painter at Hamilton. Barbara enjoyed gardening, feeding and watching the birds, loved being outside hunting and fishing, and loved bargain hunting while out shopping.
Survivors include her sons, Jim (JoAnn) Wagner of Manitowoc and Wes (Terri) Wagner of Reedsville; daughters, Lisa (Scott) Wetenkamp of Manitowoc, Brenda (Tim) Isaacson of Reedsville, Becky (Mark) Mielczarek of Manitowoc, and Theresa Wagner of Minnesota; brothers, John Alaers, Henry (Cheryl) Alaers, Dave Alaers, all of Canada, and Dale Alaers of Montana; sisters, Marie (Joe) Wagner of Montana and Susie Alaers of Canada; her children’s father, Richard Wagner of Manitowoc, 16 grandchildren, Brittaney, Bryan, Alyssa, Zach, Jacob, Cody, Josh, Beth, Austin, Alex, Adam, Ashton, Hunter, Mitch, Sammie, and Darren; 13 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Hammerberg; step-father, Harold Hammerberg; infant brother, Jerry Alaers; and brother, Joey (Gloria) Alaers.
A Life Celebration Social will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, located on the south property of the funeral home.
