Taylor D. Schabusines
The Green Bay woman accused of committing a high-profile murder has been deemed competent to stand trial.
Brown County Judge Thomas Walsh ruled that Taylor Schabusiness was able to understand court proceedings and was able to assist in her own defense.
This ruling came after a state-appointed psychologist and another hired by the defense had differing opinions.
Deborah Collins told the court that she thought Schabusiness was ready for trial, while Tracy Luchetta said, while testifying for the defense, that Schabusiness’s mental state has declined.
Schabusiness is accused of killing Shad Thyrion while the two were on drugs.
She is being held on a $2 million cash bond, and her next hearing is being held on June 2nd.
