The Green Bay Area Public School District may be asking the public for a significant chunk of change.
It is being reported that the district is considering asking the public for a $92.6 million referendum, which would go toward some maintenance projects and upgrades.
An estimated $48 million would be spent on projects at the middle and high schools in the district, while another $43 million would go toward district-wide upgrades.
Playground upgrades and fixes would also be addressed with $1.2 million of the referendum money.
District officials will be reviewing the proposal on Monday, but approval is not likely to occur.
If it is eventually approved, voters would see it on their ballots this November.
