We saw how important Khris Middleton is to the Bucks when he was knocked out by an injury in the NBA playoffs.
Milwaukee wants to keep him, obviously. Extensions are expected for Middleton and veteran center Brook Lopez.
A four-year extension could mean more than $200-million for Middleton.
Lopez is a more complex decision.
He’s 34 years old and missed most of the just-completed season.
However, his inside defense makes the Bucks a much stronger team and he looked good in the postseason.
There were no obvious signs his back surgery was slowing him down.
The team would be expected to make decisions on extensions by June.
