Roncalli made it close over the final 9 holes but Sheboygan Falls wins the Eastern Wisconsin Conference Boys Golf championship by one shot.
The Falcons captured the league title yesterday 330 to 331 in the 18-hole event at Hickory Hills Country Club at Chilton.
Kiel was 3rd and the host Tigers placed 4th.
The Jets trailed by 7 strokes at the mid-way point of the meet and closed with a furious rally, only to come up a bit short.
John Oberbroeckling of Roncalli was meet medalist with a 7 over 78, 2 shots better than both Bennett Glidden of Chilton and Andrew Kettle of ‘Falls.
Brayden Yanda was 4 shots back in 4th place and Jets’ teammates Luke Pautz and Will Falconer were 7th and 10th, respectively.
Kiel’s Parker Dallman finished 9th, Owen Just of Roncalli was 11th and Dylan Bramstedt of Valders was 12th.
Oberbroeckling was the EWC Golfer of the Year and he was joined on the first-team all-conference squad by teammates Luke Pautz and Brayden Yanda.
