The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reports the state fish is thriving in Green Bay and its tributaries.
Biologists say they just completed their annual musky survey on the Fox River.
Titletown Muskies spokesman Bob Parteka says he thinks the area has some of the “biggest fish on the planet.”
Some stretched the tape up to 58 inches long.
Just 30 years ago the musky population had been decimated in the Green Bay system.
Pollution and over-harvesting did the damage.
Now, thousands of young muskies are released into those waters every year.
