A lot of ways are being tried to reduce Milwaukee violence but none seem to be working.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office reports it has investigated 18 homicides in 15 days.
The office tweets that the victims range in age from 14 to 52 years old.
As the local temperatures have warmed the gun violence incidents have increased.
It all reached a peak Friday when 21 people were wounded in several shooting incidents near the Deer District as the Bucks were playing in the NBA Eastern Conference semifinals.
Milwaukee has recorded 82 homicides so far this year.
That compares to 52 at this time last year – and last year was a record year for homicides in Wisconsin’s largest city.
