The Wisconsin men’s hockey team has added an assistant coach from the St. Norbert College program.
Wausau native Andry Brandt was named to head coach Tony Granato’s staff Monday.
Brandt played for the Badgers team that won a national title in 2006.
Granato says Wisconsin fans will remember him as “a hard-working forward that left it all on the ice.”
Brandt has worked as an assistant in the Green Knights program for the last five years.
He helped the team win a Division Three national championship in 2018.
