There are two meetings on the calendar for today in Two Rivers. First up is the City Council who will be in the Councill Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
After hearing from the public, City Manager Greg Buckley will give some updates on numerous items, including the lot sales in the sandy bay highland, and an upcoming visit from the Cool City’s sister city, Domazlice, Czech Republic.
That visit is currently planned for May 28th through June 4th.
The Council will also approve the sale of the Fire Department’s old fire truck to the Fire Department in Quincy, Massachusetts before entering a closed session for an update on the foreclosure proceedings on the former Paragon Partners property.
Then, at 7:30 p.m., The Council will join the Room Tax Commission for a meeting, also in the Council Chambers.
The groups will get an update on tourism before entering a closed session. In that session, they will discuss the ongoing legal action involving the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, the City of Manitowoc, which may soon involve the City of Two Rivers
