
Former Bucks center and NBA legend Bob Lanier has died in Phoenix.
He was 73 years old.
Lanier played for Milwaukee for 4.5 seasons near the end of his career.
Lanier retired in 1984 at the age of 35.
His number 16 has been retired by the team and is hanging in the rafters of the Fiserv Forum.
He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1992.
Officials haven’t released a cause of death but he had been dealing with bladder cancer.
