
The Green Bay man charged with OWI while driving students to Madison has pleaded not guilty.
70-year-old James Martin Nelson was a driver with the Lamers bus company and was assigned to drive students and chaperones on a field trip to Madison.
On their way back, a student noticed a beer can under his seat and informed a teacher.
They contact the School District, who then called the police department.
Officers spoke with Nelson when they returned, who admitted to drinking while the students were doing their activities, but now he claims innocence.
He is due back in court for a pre-trial conference on May 31st.
