A 39-year-old Shawano County man who led authorities on a low-speed chase Sunday is going to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
Aaron H. Renel made a court Monday telling the judge he was a member of the “Free Masons and a sovereign individual.”
No future court dates will be set until the evaluation of his competency is completed.
Shawano County deputies responded to a report of a military vehicle driving down Highway 29 Sunday at about 5:15 p.m.
The driver, Renel, initially refused to stop.
Investigators say he is a military veteran with PTSD and other mental health issues.
