The Cincinnati Reds finally won back-to-back games, hitting three home runs in a 10-5 win over the Brewers.
The Reds still have the worst record in Major League Baseball at 6-and-23.
Brandon Drury and Kyle Farmer hit three-run homers and Colin Moran hit a solo shot.
Farmer’s homer broke an 0-for-34 hitless streak.
Milwaukee lost for the third straight time despite a round-tripper by catcher Omar Narvaez.
Brandon Woodruff took the loss.
Freddy Peralta starts tonight’s game at Great America Ballpark which will be aired on 107.9 FM WOMT starting at 5:05 p.m.
It’s not all bad news for the Brewers, however, as first baseman Rowdy Tellez has been named National League Player of the Week.
He batted .321 with three home runs and a dozen R-B-Is while leading Milwaukee to a 4-and-2 record.
Last Tuesday Tellez hit two out of the park and set a franchise record by driving in eight runs in an 18-4 win over Cincinnati at home.
Seven of the stocky athlete’s nine hits last week went for extra bases.
Teammate Willy Adames won the award last week.
