For the second time this year, gas prices in eastern Wisconsin have reached record highs.
According to the AAA Gas Prices webpage, fuel prices have rebounded significantly following three weeks of declines in all seven counties near Manitowoc.
In Manitowoc County, the average price per gallon of fuel jumped 15 cents from last week to $4.06, which is one penny higher than it was when prices skyrocketed in mid-March.
Sheboygan and Outagamie County each reported a 17-cent bump to $4.10 and $3.98 respectively, while Calumet County saw a 12-cent rise to $3.97.
Brown County reported the largest increase, up 21 cents to $4.08, which is where the average is in Kewaunee County as well.
Their average rose 19 cents from last week.
Door County reported a 13-cent jump to $4.15, leaving them with the most expensive fuel in the area.
The state average rose 18 cents to $4.11, while the national average is up 12 cents from last week to $4.32.
