Workers with a demolition crew have found a decomposing body inside an abandoned home in Racine.
The discovery was made Wednesday night.
Workers for Vaash Board Up Excavating told police they went to the structure to board up and secure an open rear door and window.
When they entered the home they found the dead body in the upper unit.
Officers say the body was in an ”advanced stage of decomposition.”
It hasn’t been identified.
An autopsy will be conducted.
