Talk about a bounce back.
The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers were able to shake off their sub-par series in Illinois last week with a bang, as they toppled the Fort Wayne TinCaps 9-0 at Fox Cities Stadium last night.
T.J. Shook picked up the win, tossing 7 strikeouts and allowing only 4 hits, while Max Lazar picked up the save after only allowing two hits, and fanning 2 batters.
Offensively, nearly everyone contributed at least one hit, with 3rd baseman Zavier Warren, and Outfielders Carlos Rodriguez, and Micha Bello each batting in 2 runs apiece.
The two teams will square off again tonight in Appleton, with the first pitch scheduled to be thrown at 6:40 p.m.
