Some changes may be coming to the Sheboygan County Jail.
Sheriff Cory Roesler has submitted a proposal to remodel the facility, specifically to replace some equipment and flooring, and to upgrade the camera system.
Some of the major projects would include the epoxy coating of 37 ceramic tile showers, and the replacement of six air conditioning units, four refrigeration units, and two washing machines.
The total cost of the project is expected to be around $2.3 million, and the project would be spread over a five-year span.
The County’s Law Committee will look over the proposal at their meeting this evening.
