The Boston Celtics routed the Bucks Tuesday night 109-86 in an Eastern Conference semifinal game.
Jaylen Brown scored 25 points in the first half as the Celtics claimed a 65-40 lead.
Boston connected on 20-of-43 3-pointers.
The Bucks got the difference down to a dozen points, 94-82, in the fourth period, but couldn’t get any closer.
Defenders throttled Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, holding him to 28 points – most of them scored after the game was already decided.
The series resumes Saturday with Game 3 in Milwaukee at the Fiserv Forum.
