There are two governmental meetings scheduled for today in Manitowoc.
The County’s Personnel Committee will gather at 4:15 p.m. in the Admin Office, where they will start by hearing comments from the public.
Then, after electing a Vice-Chair and Secretary, the group will discuss and possibly take action on the implementation of an employee referral program for corrections officers.
They will also look over Sheriff’s Department recruitment before adjourning.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the City of Manitowoc’s Finance Committee will be in the Council Chambers.
After looking over the 1st quarter reports, the committee will discuss the membership appointment for the Capital Asset Working Group.
