
There are two meetings on the calendar for this evening in the City of Manitowoc.
First up is the Room Tax Commission, which will be in the Council Chambers at 4:30 p.m.
They will be discussing a request to fund having the Roncalli and Manitowoc Lutheran Bands at the S.S. Badger Car Ferry Maiden Voyage celebration, and another to approve a branding and website agreement with a company known as Simple view.
Then, at 5:30 p.m., the Personnel Committee will occupy the Council Chambers.
After receiving their quarterly and monthly reports, the Committee will discuss some proposed revisions to the social media policy, and a request for a resolution to hire seasonal employees related to elected officials, department heads, or supervisory personnel.
They will also enter a closed session to look over a grievance from the Wisconsin Professional Police Association regarding the hiring of a seasonal police assistant.
