The De Pere chapter of the Disabled American Veterans will have a much easier time transporting our nation’s disabled heroes after a donation from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.
Students at the school spent six months retrofitting a 2012 Dodge Caravan for the DAV so they can more easily transport veterans to and from medical appointments, church services, or grocery shopping.
The donation was officially given to the DAV during a car show at the school, where over 2,000 auto enthusiasts were on hand.
