Summer hours for Pinecrest Historical Village west of Manitowoc are set to take effect on Sunday, May 15.
Amy Meyer is Executive Director of the Manitowoc County Historical Society and she explains Wednesday through Sunday hours for the season will be 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Meyer tells Seehafer News they have much to offer.
“We have school groups returning this spring, we are so excited to welcome our school buses back. And then we also have a lot of our returning programs such as Civil War days, Buffalo Bill Wild West show, Mid-Lakes Thresheree. We’re going to welcome some new programs [this summer] as well.”
The summer hours of 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday will be in effect through September 30. Visitors to Pinecrest will be able to learn about treasured buildings on-site with a new audio tour, titled “Creating Our Story.”
Audio segments were recorded recently by our own Lee Douglas of WOMT Radio. For updates on upcoming programs at Pinecrest Historical Village visit ManitowocCountyHistory.org.
