Two Rivers is getting geared up to complete the Central Park West 365 project but they still are seeking additional funding from the community.
Half of the $1.6 million project is being paid for by a combined $500,000 in funding from the city and a grant from the West Foundation for $300,000. The remaining $800,000 will be funded by community donations.
In a city update released to residents, the city noted that around $520,000 has been committed from community donors thus far, which leaves another $280,000 to raise by July to meet current construction goals.
The aim is to begin construction this fall and continue in the coming spring of 2023. On that schedule, dedication would be planned for July 2023.
The city notes in their release that donations should be considered an investment in making Two Rivers an “even more attractive place to live, work, raise a family, visit and do business.”
Sponsored features such as pavers that will be placed in front of the new bandstand are available and will be assigned based on the order in which donations are received.
