The man who shot a 16-year-old worker at a Milwaukee Burger King restaurant has pleaded guilty to a charge of illegal possession of a firearm.
A homicide charge was dropped as part of a plea agreement with 34-year-old Derrick Ellis.
Ellis was also working at the restaurant when a customer at the drive-thru apparently tried to rob it.
When he opened fire, one of his bullets struck and killed restaurant cashier Niesha Harris-Brazell.
Ellis is scheduled to be sentenced on June 16th.
