Betty Lou Musial, age 91, of Manitowoc, passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at Felician Village in Manitowoc.
Betty Lou was born on September 6, 1930, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late William and Vlasta (Nespor) Bruechert. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School class of 1948. On September 2, 1950, she married Marvin Musial at St. Mary’s in Manitowoc, he preceded her in death December 28, 2013. Betty Lou enjoyed shopping, reading, decorating, sewing, crafting and most of all, the family get togethers.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law: Diana (Tom) Hartman, Manitowoc; Cynthia Musial (James Fintelmann), Howards Grove; and Nancy Musial (Steve Kanter), Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law: David (Donna) Musial, Two Rivers; Charles (Barbara) Musial, Gulf Breeze, FL; and Todd (Tina) Musial, Two Rivers; eleven grand children: Amy (Jeff) Brunmeier, Kim (Chad) Kellner, Scott (Erin) Hartman, Christopher Hartman, Nicole (Paul) Masse, Drew (Courtney) Olson, Emily (Ryan) Nowak, Andra (Aaron) Erdmann, Josiah Musial, Talia Musial, and Grace Musial; fifteen great grandchildren: Jason, Lindsey, Emma, Morgan, Olivia, Chase, Adelaide, Josephine, Matthew, Allison, Claire, Levi, Nadia, Declan, and Eliza; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Vlasta Bruechert; her husband: Marvin Musial; one infant son: Jeffrey; one grandson: Bradley “Bubba” Musial; three brothers: LeRoy, Robert, and Donald Bruechert; two sisters: Janet Bauer and Lois Bruechert.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 2, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi, Marshall site, 1114 S. 21st St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Jason Blahnik will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call at the Church from 9:00am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
