This Saturday is the National Drug Takeback Day. Holy Family Memorial is teaming up with the Manitowoc County Recycling Center, the Sheriff’s Department, the Manitowoc Metro Drug Unit, the Manitowoc Police Department, and Healthiest Manitowoc County to collect unwanted prescription drugs.
The medication take-back event will take place at the main entrance of the HFM Medical Center, located at 2300 Western Avenue in Manitowoc.
They will be accepting prescription and over-the-counter medications, as well as creams and liquids, which must be in their original containers, inhalers, and other non-illegal drugs.
The disposal service is free and anonymous for community members.
