Helen M. Lucey, age 90 of Manitowoc, entered into Heaven on her birthday, April 23, 2022, peacefully with her family by her side. Helen was born on April 23, 1932, to the late Matthew “Matt” & Magdalena (Kloeppel) Moehn in Stockbridge, Wisconsin.
Funeral service will be held at 5:00 pm on Monday, May 2, 2022, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Fr. Dave Pleier with burial to take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later time. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman on Monday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. A dinner will follow at Machut’s Supper Club in Two Rivers.
The family requests donations be made in Helen’s honor to the Roncalli High School Scholarship Fund or the Alzheimer’s Association.
Helen will be deeply missed by her children: Michael (Ellen) Lucey, Kathy (Mark) Glaeser, Jeff (Carlos) Lucey, and Mary Ann (Al) Dilling; 6 grandchildren: Steven (Millicent) Glaeser, Megan (Matt) Enderby, Alex (Patrick) Kenealy, Devin (Connor) McGovern, Joseph (Bri) Lucey, and Joshua Dilling; her 10 great-grandchildren: Huxley, Luella, and Marigold Glaeser, Lena and Julia Enderby, Keegan, Leo, and Baker Kenealy, DJ Lucey, and Dillin McGovern; her siblings Matt Moehn, Gerry (Pat) Moehn, and Carol (Dick) Mueller; her sisters-in-law: Eileen and Doris Moehn; Nancy Lucey, Kathy Lucey; and beloved longtime friends Rita Jansen and Dan and Cindy Svacina. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her infant daughter, Lori; and her siblings: Lucille (Harry) Martin, Luella (Bob) Brooks, George (Betty) Moehn, Harold Moehn, Cliff (Florence) Moehn, Mary (Robert) Schwobe, Art Moehn, and her sister-in-law Sylvia Moehn; and other in-laws; Bill Lucey, Tom Lucey, Jack Lucey and Mike Lucey.

Helen’s family would like to thank the many staff at Felician Village in Manitowoc who have cared for Helen during her journey with dementia and the staff of Home Care Health Services & Hospice who provided great care and advocacy for Helen over the past two years.
