Envelope containing voting ballot papers being sent by mail for absentee vote in presidential election
A citizen of Green Bay has filed a complaint with the Wisconsin Elections Commission.
Matt Roeser is accusing City Clerk Celestine Jefferys of “absentee ballot harvesting” or accepting multiple absentee ballots from a single voter.
Roeser claims that a witness asked the City Clerk about the practice, to which she allegedly responded with “It’s my discretion on whether I take the ballots.”
The complaint, which was filed on April 25th, asks for the state organization to look into the matter.
The Elections Commission has 10 days to respond to the request.
