Lefty Aaron Ashby and four Brewers relievers held Pittsburgh to one hit in Wednesday’s 3-1 victory at PNC Park.
Ashby gave up the only run and the only hit after pitching no-hit ball for the first five innings.
Milwaukee didn’t have a hit either until Kolten Wong led off the sixth with a double.
Trailing 1-0, Rowdy Tellez and Tyrone Taylor knocked in runs for the Brewers in the seventh.
The third run came in the ninth on a bases-loaded walk to Wong.
Trevor Gott struck out the only batter he faced and picked up the win.
Josh Hader walked a pair but struck out the side in the ninth for his Major League Baseball-leading 10th save.
