The Executive Director of Two Rivers Main Street has announced his plans to retire this summer.
Roger Russove has been in the position since 2015 and will be stepping away effective July 1st.
While he has been the man in charge of the organization for seven years, he has actually been actively involved with Two Rivers Main Street since its inception in 1995.
He assisted in preparing Two Rivers’ application for designation as a Wisconsin Main Street Community and was part of the team that pitched that designation in a presentation to the WI Department of Commerce.
Today, Two Rivers is one of 34 Main Street communities recognized by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.
Looking back over his more than 6 years as Director, Russove commented in a statement on the organization’s website, “This has been a great 6 and a half years. Many great things have happened in Two Rivers, and there are many more coming soon. Thank you to everyone in the community for your support and your desire to make Two Rivers a great place to live, work and play. I look forward to watching the continued growth of the city and the Main Street district as I move into the next phase of my career.”
