The unemployment numbers in Sheboygan County last month look very similar to where they were in February.
According to statistics released by the Department of Workforce Development, the labor force in Sheboygan County declined by 35 people to 62,765.
Of those, 1,621 people are listed as unemployed, which equates to a 2.6% unemployment rate.
That number is exactly the same as it was in February.
Around the state, the unemployment rate declined or remained the same in all 62 counties when compared to February, however, they declined in all 72 counties when compared to last year’s numbers.
