Badgers freshman outside hitter Lauren Jardine has announced she’s entering the transfer portal.
She played in 14 matches for the national champions last season.
Jardine was a top-15 prospect in the country when she committed to Wisconsin.
She had a career-high 14 kills against Northern Illinois, but her playing time decreased as the season went on.
Jardine may wind up closer to her Utah home at Brigham Young University.
With Big Ten All-Conference outside hitter Sarah Franklin transferring in from Michigan State and the arrival of highly-touted freshman Ella Wrobel, Jardine may have seen even less playing time in her future – despite her obvious abilities.
